Carol Samaha was born in Khenchara- Metn, Lebanon, acquired a master degree in directing and acting.
Her first professional appearance was in the year 1995 through the theatrical drama « Manzil Bernarda Alba” (House Bernarda Alba) where she played a starring role under the direction of director Michel Jabr on the stage of Beirut.
In the year 1996 she participated in the play « Aachikat Allah” (Lover of God) for Nida’ Abu Mrad. She was marked by a striking presence and there was the first time when the public discovered her large, flexible and strong voice. This was played in the American University of Lebanon and then in the Musical Festival of Fans in Italy.
In the same year, Carol played a starring role in the drama « AL Mouhajer” (the Emigrant), written by George Chehadeh, and directed by Michel Jabr, presented in the “Al Madina” theater, Beirut.
She participated in the play « Toukous al Isharat wal tahawoulat” (rituals of signs and transformations) written by Saadallah Wannous and directed by Nidal Al-Ashkar. Carol stood in 1997 on the cultural arenas of the most prominent theaters in Beirut, Paris, Syria and Jordan.
One of her most famous works during that same year was her participation beside Loret el Helou in the album “Al Nizam al Jadid” (the new order) of Osama Rahbani music.
The year 1998 witnessed a new birth of the star Carol Samaha through Rahbani theater, where she played the role of « Theodora » in « The Threepenny Opera “Akher ayyam Socrat”(the last days of Socrates) presented at the Casino du Liban and then in Abu Dhabi, Syria and Egypt. Important to state that « akher ayyam Socrate » is directed by Marwan Rahbani.
Carol played in the same year at the Mono stage the starring role in the play “ Hia fi ghiyab al hob wal mawt” (She’s in the absence of love and death) directed by Michel Jabr. The work is a monologue based on the work of the Russian Edward Radzinsky.
The year 1999 recorded Carol’s first appearance through television series « Talbin el Orb” by Marwan Najjar. She also played a starring role in « Nora, » written by Shekri Anis Fakhoury and directed by Ma’moun al Banna.
In the same year she participated in « The Threepenny Opera “Imara men halzaman” (the Principality of this time) for Caracalla presented at the Baalbeck Festival.

According to statistics run by al shareq al awsat FM in Australia about Arab singers for six months, Pascale earned the first place in the top ten for her albums KHAYALA and NOUR EL SHAMS. Thus she acquired the fame award 2000. Every album she released in her career made it to top ten & hit number one in every chart in the MEA.
She was the first Arab singer to go to Malaysia due to the success of her album NOUR EL SHAMS which sold more than 250000 copies. Hence, she was the first Arab singer to win double platinum Deraa takreem Lebanese army prize song ZALGHIT YA LOUBNAN.

Spy game film:
Warner used the song NOUR EL SHAMS in the American movie spy game featuring Robert Redford and brad pit which s a very special thing for an Arabic song to be included in the soundtrack of an American movie.

Pascale was a great success in the film of advertising when she featured in the Head & Shoulders shampoo advertisement in 1998 which was broadcasted on 33 Arabic and European channels for 6 months..

Dernier enfant d’une famille libanaise, Pascale Bechara Bechaalany est née le 27 Mars à Jedeideh – Zalka- Elle a grandit à Jounieh Orpheline, sa mère pris en charge son éducation avec l’aide de ses deux ainées Dalida et Elie . Celui ci accompagne, plus tard Pascale des le début de sa carrière.

Le Golden lui fut remis pour son album « Banadi » en 1994 et « Khayala » et en Australie quand elle a gagné la première place du top ten selon les statistiques qui ont duré 6 mois.
Elle a aussi été la première chanteuse arabe invitée en Malaysia par « Warner Company » suite au succès qu’elle obtenue pour sa chanson “ Nour el shams”. les ventes ont atteint le quart de million. Sur ce elle a gagné le prix du double platinum.
En Malaysia non seulement elle a chanté durant deux semaines mais aussi ella a fait un “promo tour” ou le public malaysien a chanté avec elle alors qu’il ne connaissait pas la langue arabe c’était une véritable réussite. En fait, Marwan est tout simplement un artiste ….

Sa mère aimait chanter Tarab, sa belle voix a caractérisé la vie de l’artiste et a amplifié son amour pour la musique depuis son plus jeune âge.

Il a le Caractère de personne sensible qui a formé une enfance heureuse grâce à un sens distinctif de la musique.

La musique était son rêve et sa réalité…..

N’ayant pas pu séparer la mélodie, de la parole et la tonalité, il a donc décidé de les placer tous ensemble enfin d’établir une personnalité artistique remarquable.

Sa carrière basée sur une culture musicale d’une part, ayant étudié à l’Université de Saint-Esprit de Kaslik le solfège, l’harmonica et le piano aussi, avec une expérience de performance significative d’autre part, ayant commencé comme interprète dans plusieurs équipes d’artistes libanais.

Âgé de 17 ans Marwan Khoury, joueur professionnel impliqué dans plusieurs performances artistiques, a dirigé la bande des musiciens du programme « Laylet Haz » avec le réalisateur Simon Asmar, à l’égard d’être un musicien dans le groupe de Rafic Hobeika en « Studio ElFan » en 1993.

Mais au moment où Marwan  était actif en tant qu’interprète musicien, une tentation de composition musicale naissait dans son cœur mais n’était  pas encore publiée officiellement.

Il a quand même commencé à un âge précoce, écrire et composer des chansons.

En 1987, Marwan Khoury a obtenu le deuxième prix de composition musicale de l’Université du Saint-Esprit à Kaslik, cédée par le  représentant de la république libanaise Amin Gemayel.

La même année l’album « Kasak Habibi » qui inclut cinq chansons écrites, composées et présentées par Marwan, a ouvert un accès musical distingué pour Marwan.

Émise en 1995,  la chanson romantique « Fik wala Balak », à proximité des travaux en cours du Marwan, a capté l’admiration du public et connu une propagation rapide.

«L’Asbor Ala Waylah », est une chanson pour Marwan Khoury publié avec d’autres chansons par « Relax In. »

En 1999, l’artiste Marwan Khoury a composé la chanson « Tea », puis la chanson « AlaDalonah » pour l’artiste  Nawal Zoghbi, ce qui a accélérée sa renommée dans la carrière de la composition et la poésie.

En 2002,Marwan Khoury, sorti son album ‘Khayal El Omr’, avec les compagnies « Relax In » et « Megastar ».

Après le succès de la chanson et le clip de « Kel ELQasayed’ sous la direction de Claude Khoury Marwan publia un nouveau clip vidéo intitulé « Khedni Maak « , dirigé par Claude Khoury pour la deuxième fois.

La prochaine étape pour l’artiste fut  la chanson « Kel Saa » également réalisée par Claude Khoury, et suivit par un nouvel album apparu en fin 2005.

Le nouvel album intitulé « Kasr El Chok » contenant 9 chansons signé Marwan Khoury.

Kasr EL Chok devrait être la plus belle œuvre réalisée par l’artiste Marwan, où elle reflet l’esprit romantique et moderne de la chanson orientale se qui confirme que Marwan est l’un des rares artistes qui ont parvenu à maintenir l’art authentique sans perdre les idées nouvelles de notre temps fourni par la musique et la parole.

Joseph Attieh also undertook an acting experience through his participation in a TV series “Jiran” which was produced and broadcasted by L.B.C

Joseph continued his success by recording singles and filming video clips for the songs “Nahle”, “Habeit 3younak”.

His Patriotic song and video clip “El Ha2 Ma Bi Mout” (Lebnan ra7 yerja3) has achieved tremendous success, and is loved by the audiences all over the Arab world, and is now sung on all occasions and national celebrations.

2009 started with even more success and awards, as Joseph Attieh was awarded the MUREX D’or, for best patriotic song of the year.

Later that year, Joseph Attieh filmed the video clip of his new single “Law Gharabouha” which stayed in the top 1 of many radio stations for several weeks.

Joseph is currently putting the final touches on his new album which consists of 12 songs, and is due to be released in January 2010
